Worked out just fine Thank you
Almost exactly the same as the Smokejumper, this boot was machine made not hand-made, so if you're looking really hard you can see the difference in threading and cut-out on heel. It doesn't have screws on the bottom like the Smokejumper does & it doesn't cost $500! Same Sizing chart as the Smokejumper. If your 10.5/11 in any other shoe you'd be a 9.5 EE in this Boot. Heavy Durable Boot. Usually when you go for the cheaper option you'd think you're sacrificing Quality but not with these boots. They fit great, they're heavy and it's perfect for me, because it's my first season with the forest service. Great fit, Great Boot, Great experience buying these Boots from FIRE ETC.
These boots are comfortable and very durable.
Was shipped the wrong size by mistake. Customer service took care of the issue immediately. Shipping was fast both times and the quality of these boots is obvious as soon as you open the box. Pricing was the best anywhere.
After getting my certifications for wildland firefighting i immediately started looking for fire rated boots i gotta say i got lucky running onto fire ECT great pricing fast shipping and i absolutely love this boots so far so good i cant wait to try them on the lines.
Been in the sawmill 15 years had lots of boots hands down the best I've had didn't really know what to expect with all the different reviews I've read but broke in right away and I love them will only buy this boot nothing else so happy. There was one thing nobody said about them was how light they are it's like having shoes on.
Thank you for for the great prices and fast service. I am very happy with your company and I will be ordering more in the future.
This is my first wildland season. These boots are rough, be patient and power through and they break in pretty decent. Still aren't anything of comfort honestly. Soles are still rock hard after several hours of wear, plenty of water and dry, and stepping in two hot spots, hot enough to garner attention. Being on the low end these are definitely a good option for a first season, so you aren't out 400+ dollars. Short: These are fairly tough, may last more than one season. Take time to break them in and deal with the pain. Great protection. Pretty uncomfortable after 1hr or 12hrs. Wear 2 pair socks or very thick wool.
Good boots tuff to break in but what do you expect from a well made boot
