Fire-Etc customer service rocks. One of the back loops tore, and when I let them know, I had a replacement pair shipped to me that day My husband swears by these boots. He's had many pairs. We'll buy them again, surely.

..."coon skin and alagator hide, makes a pair of jump boots fit just right"...well, they ain't a pair of cochran II jump boots so when you first put 'em on, its like putting your foot into a ski boot or an ankle cast...they're pretty stiff. i've been wearing mine now for about two weeks just around the office and they still hurt my feet. so,yeah, they'll take a minute to break in, but they're starting to get pretty dang comfortable. my last pair of fire boots (thorogoods)only lasted about two years and cost about a hundred dollars more than these. so ask me again in two years how they've held up.

This is my first pair of Whites boots ever. Looking at the inside tag I noticed that the boots were made on the 17th of May..so I got some right off the line...anyhow..I laced them right up with the leather laces i bought with the boots and wore them around...perfect fit..like they were tailored for my foot....Ill let ya'll know how they stand up to the fire season
