Hot Shield Model HS-4 is an extremely heat and fire resistant respirator housing for the Sundstrom SR90/100 Half Face Respirator. The HS-4 has been designed by firefighters for wildland firefighting, but has found application in other industries utilizing the Sundstrom brand of Half Face Respirators. You can either purchase the HS-4 by itself or as a package with the SR90/100.

A facial protection safety garment designed exclusively for use with the Sundstrom SR90 and SR100 Half Face Respirators. Can be classified as an interface component as per NFPA Standard #1977 (Appendix definition). Mask is designed to completely cover said respirator without interfering in the face-to-respirator seal. Mask can hang loosely around neck until ready for immediate use. Mask uses FR hook and loop fasteners to secure around back of neck. Allows for individual for testing.
