CMC Rescue Aluminum Locking D Carabiners. - Light Use. An aluminum carabiner designed for rescue applications where high strength must be combined with minimum weight. Although slightly larger than most montaineering aluminum carabiners, the CMC design is still easy to operate with one hand. On the Screw-Lock models, the nuts lock on the gate to prevent jamming. The Quik-Lok models have a two-stage locking gate and a very smooth action. The red Quik-Lok has a Captive Eye that will keep a web strap or an attached rope in place. Every Carabiner is Proof Tested.
